About the content of the song, Neck Deep tells the story about a pair of lovers torn apart by mid-December. I hope he's better than I ever could've been, my mistakes were not intentions, this is a list of my confessions I could not say, pain is never permanent but tonight it's killing me. The lyric is the highest peak in the deepest well as this song and made me say "Neck Deep makes an excellent make the lyrics in this song".
December was melancholy. Whether this is just my feeling right now listening to the songs of this kind, or indeed the songs above have a very deep sense.
